Sahiwal Educational Trust was established in 1986 with Syed  Tajammal  Abbas, the then Deputy Commissioner Sahiwal, as the first Chairman. Sahiwal Educational  Trust  is  an organization that endeavours to sponsor educational needs of the individuals as well as the communities inhabited in the Sahiwal District. The Trust had initially only one school in the shape of Divisional Public School & College Sahiwal but has now added another campus at Chichawatni. Ravi Campus is the latest addition to the growing list of DPS Campuses. Commissioner Sahiwal Division is the Chairman of the Trust.
